Amanda and Tim's Wedding

Yesterday Amanda and Tim got married over in Pickerington. We were worried about the rain but luckily it dried up and we had beautiful weather and the sun was out. The church has these huge windows and skylights so it ended up being really bright inside. It was wonderful light for photography.

We have a slideshow of some of the pictures, of course. Take a look and leave a comment if you want.

The Walter Children

The Walter children came in for a spring portrait and they had the best looking outfits. The boys were matching in blue and white striped pants and white shirts with adorable yellow ties. The baby was just adorable in her white bonnet. I know I say this all the time, but when I see pictures like this, it makes me thankful that I can love my work so much. Here's the slideshow.

And this is a collage of the baby I put together:

Carson

Carson's parents brought him in last week for his five-week-old portraits. What a cutie he is. This picture is one of my favorites. It doesn't really need a caption, but he ought to have a word bubble above him saying something like "hey, what're you lookin at?" There's a slideshow of a bunch of his pictures, you can see it here.

And here's a collage of Carson's parts:

Bryan's Senior Portraits

Bryan

Bryan
Our second senior this year was Bryan, also one of our ambassadors. He's over at Dublin Jerome HS. You know how some people just can't give you a serious face? Bryan's one of those people. We managed to get a few, but he was mostly laughing and smiling, which was fantastic. His attitude was great and we got some great images. You can see his slideshow here.

Stephanie's Senior Portraits

Stephanie

Stephanie

We're starting in on the season for Senior Portraits. We've had a few people in so far and the results have been amazing! Stephanie was our first Senior of the year and she was great. She's one of our Ambassadors at Dublin Coffman HS, so ask her to show you her pictures. We had a lot of fun, and, well, just check out her slideshow!

Sara and Andy's Engagement Portraits

Yesterday evening we headed out to a local park to photograph Sara and Andy for their engagement portraits. We had a great time at the park with their dog on the trails. These engagement sessions are so much fun because you get to see the pictures right away, without any edits at all. And we get to know each other a little better so it's not like just meeting them on their wedding day.

Anyway, there's a slideshow of some images so be sure to check it out.

Portrait Party in Dublin!

Last Sunday we tried something new for us. A Portrait Party! "What's a portrait party," you ask? First of all it's a lot of fun. Sort of like a Tupperware/Longaberger/Pampered Chef type party but instead of selling "things," everyone gets their portraits made. One of our best customers really wanted to try one, so we said we'd give it a shot (pun intended!).

Wow! What a lot of fun. We set up about half an hour early in the Hostess's living room. Everyone was given a 20-minute time-slot and came over for conversation, goodies, and to get pictures taken. The weather cooperated so we also did outside pictures. Their yard backs onto a wooded area, which made a wonderful backdrop. And best of all, the hostess earned a percentage of all the sales to go toward her order! Everyone wins.

From what we heard, everyone loved it. The kids came to a house that was familiar to them, everything was easy, and they had fun. Just what we want the kids to do! We'll be doing more of these in the future so if you're interested, let us know and we'll tell you how it all works.

Dalton at 7 Months!

Dalton came in again for another portrait. For those of you who are following his progress, he first came in for a newborn session, then at four months, and now at seven months. He just gets cuter every day, it seems. This time the weather was a little warmer and we were able to do some portraits outside. Lots of fun. Enjoy the slideshow!

Drama Kids Columbus!

This was so much fun! The energy with all these kids was phenomenal. I was asked to photograph a bunch of kids from the local Drama Kids group to use in advertising. There ended up being more than twenty kids of all ages and, well, just watch the slideshow and you see how much fun we had!

Wendy and Harry's 1st Anniversary

Last week I was able to photograph a couple whose wedding we photographed a year ago. It was their one-year anniversary and they had a party at the Park of Roses in Clintonville. We got off to a late start so there wasn't much light for photos -- luckily I brought my fast fiddy to save the day.
