Owen at Two

Those of you who follow this blog already know about Owen. He was on our baby plan for the first year of his life and is now enrolled in out kids' club. He came in earlier this week for his two-year-old portraits. He's still running around a lot and is great at being a two-year-old.

It's so cool being able to see him growing up and having the photos to show his progression into toddlerhood.

Emily and Chris

Saturday afternoon we had a great time with Emily and Chris at the OSU stadium. Their wedding's not until December so they have a few months to get everything done. They've been together since high school -- isn't that cool?

Afterwards, while we were looking at them over coffee Emily kept saying, "oh I like this one, too," which is great. Sure beats the alternative. ;-)

Jeff and Melissa

On Saturday we met Jeff and Melissa for their engagement pictures. We went to the Park of Roses here in Columbus.

Their wedding is in two weeks and we weren't sure if we'd have a chance for the engagement session but I'm so glad we did. They were so much fun and are totally into each other.

As on most Saturdays, there was a wedding going on there later in the afternoon. They said, "what the heck, let's just elope," so we had the waiting minister do his thing and bless them at the end.

Joel and Stephanie

I just have to say that this engagement session was so fun and, for us, unique. We went out of town on a little vacation just for this session -- to Boston! I hadn't been there since I was 10 so I didn't remember much of it. We had a fantastic time

First we went over to the Public Gardens. You know that book, "Make Way for Ducklings"? Yup, that pond. We walked through the garden for a while and then went down Commonwealth Ave. Joel and Stephanie have an apartment a couple blocks away from the Public Gardens right on Commonwealth, so they wanted some pictures in the alley where they get into the apartment.

Baby Kate

This was so fun. Some of you might remember Baby Kate's 7-month portraits last year. Well, she came in again for 19-month pictures -- almost exactly one year ago to the day.

It was great seeing her again and seeing how much she's changed in the past year. Check out her slideshow and leave a comment.

Reagan

Yesterday we went to Hilliard to Reagan's house to take some one-year-old portraits of her and her cousin, Allison. Reagan's mom really wanted something different from the "typical one-year portraits with the baby sitting next to a big number one." We assured her that we don't even have any big numbers so she was safe.

We motored through the processing and proofed the images this afternoon. I knew they'd be happy, but they were happier than they ever expected. One comment was that they usually only like one picture [from a portrait session] so that's the one they order. This time, however, there were so many good ones that they couldn't decide on just one.

Anyway, the slideshow starts out with Allison because she was ready first, so don't be too confused about who's who. Allison has more hair. ;-)

Emily and Paul

Last Saturday was Emily and Paul's wedding and what a blast it was. The weather was sketchy for a little bit, but it turned out beautifully by the time everyone was outside. The rain earlier made for a muggy day, but that didn't stop the celebration!There are a lot more pictures in their slideshow, so be sure to check it out.

Jenny

Jenny was in for her senior pictures with her twin brother, Dan (see the post right before this one). She was so much fun to work with and a great model. She's our other ambassador at Dublin Coffman so make sure to get one of her cards before we do your senior pictures.

Dan

It's officially senior season! Dan's another one of our ambassadors. He's at Dublin Coffman high school. He didn't really know what he wanted at first so we just kind of went with the flow. After a while we were more comfortable and things went great.
