Josh and Layne

This portrait session was so much fun. I've been taking these kids' portraits for a few years, now -- watching them grow. There are a couple other kids in the family whose portraits I take at another time of the year but this time was for Josh and Layne. I can't believe Josh will be in High School this fall.
There are more images in the slideshow, so be sure to check it out and then leave a comment for them below.

Ethan at 10 Months

Ethan was in for his ten-month portraits the other day. I really shouldn't be surprised, but kids look so different after a few months. I mean, I know he's the same boy, but he looks so different.

Isn't he adorable?

I love this next picture.
They've always been able to get a family picture with everyone having fun.

Make sure to see the slideshow and leave a comment below.

Audrey at 6 Months

Audrey was in for her six month portraits the other day. It was almost two weeks ago, actually, now that I think about it. Going out of town makes things go quickly. Anyway, she's already sitting up (as you can see) and still as cute as she can be. Hey, that rhymes! ;-)

I love how her toes are peeking up in this tub picture.
And what a contagious smile. Admit it, this one made you smile.
Playing around with perspective:
You can see a few more pictures in her slideshow. Leave a comment and I'll be sure her parents see it.

Jeff and Melissa

Remember Jeff and Melissa's engagement session from last month? Well, last week they got married on the luckiest day of the century -- 07/07/07. We went out of town for a week the morning after so I'm just getting the slideshow up now.
The church had some wonderful natural light coming in, giving a really cool blue glow in the front:
The bridal party:

Just the guys:

She has such a wonderful smile:
The flower girl was so cute and the ring bearer insisted on carrying the pillow upside-down. No, the rings weren't lost.

The altar was decorated beautifully:

I love this image of their rings. On another, similar one, you can read the inscription on the inside of the band.

As always, there was a lot of competition with other photographers.

The first dance complete with swooning junior bridesmaids.

Little girls having fun on the dance floor:

The band was incredible. And the bride's step-dad is in the horn section! How cool is that?

Emma

Emma stopped by with her dad yesterday so we thought we'd do an impromptu photo shoot. We've known them for years but we don't live nearby, anymore, so we don't get to see Emma very much.

She was a real doll and seemed to love having her pictures taken. Take a look at the slideshow for more!
